Dearest Bronisia!

The letter and card from you I got, for which I thank you very warmly and I’m happy that [you’re] healthy because I’m also healthy and working, and it’s not so bad for me these days. Dearest treasure, you write me to give you the address of the hairdresser. The hairdresser is named Stein and the [house] number, I don’t know it myself for sure, since we don’t go to him, 342 Richmond Hill. On Saturday if you don’t show up on time, I’ll wait and then if you’re still not there, then after dinner I’ll go to Woodhaven Avenue. I greet you warmly and kiss [you], your sincerely loving Theodor

Goodbye [my] only heart, Kiss XXXXXX
